Help Avinash get back his health
I am Avinash, 32 years old from Curepipe. I was in good health but my life got completely affected after undergoing an operation of the appendix last year. In August 2020, I was told I had abdominal paralysis after operating from appendicitis. Doctors have told me there is no treatment in Mauritius and that I urgently need to go to India for operations if I want to get well. In March this year, I also suffered from a minor attack in the brain (possibly due to stress).
Hopefully, the Ministry of Health responded to my appeal and will be sending me to India on the 19th of June.
The ministry will cover all costs associated to my treatment (medication, surgery, in-patient accomodation) up to Rs.800,000.
*Other costs associated to this travel including accomodation, food, pocket money will need to be covered by myself.
A nurse, Govind, will need to travelling with me to assist me during my travel and all costs associated to him also need to be covered by myself.
Since my first attempt to launched this crowdfunding campaign, I had to face additional issues regarding the authenticity of my case.
Thanks to people supporting me, my appeal was heard and my situation is now improving and moving forward!
As I still highly depend on anyone capable of supporting me, I am re-opening this campaign to help me cover all costs associated to my stay in India that will not be covered by the Ministry as mentioned above*.
The goal of this project has been set to Rs.150,000 and might be modified for any unforeseen event once arrived to India.
Thanks to supporters of this campaign, individuals who believed in me and few family members, I will leave Mauritius with a sum of approx. Rs.40,000 in my bank account.
