My name is Clarel Naraina, and I am 44 years old. In December 2024, I faced a life-changing medical challenge when I had to undergo the amputation of my right foot due to a severe bone infection. Unfortunately, my medical insurance did not cover the cost, as they do not include coverage for chronic diseases, leaving me with an expense of approximately Rs 700,000.

I am alo a father to a 6-years-old son who lives with me,  and my journey to recovery is not just about regaining my own independence, but also being there for him as he grows. Despite this setback, I am determined to regain my mobility and independence. A crucial part of this journey is obtaining a high-quality prosthetic foot, which will allow me to walk again and live a more active life.
