Help Mirella Couronne live with a healthy heart
Our dear Mirella Couronne, a 64-year-old devoted wife, mother of three, and former director of St Andrews College, is in urgent need of a heart valve replacement. For over 15 years, she has lived with a mechanical heart valve. Unfortunately, this valve has started leaking, severely affecting her health by destroying red blood cells and leaving her incredibly weak, unable to eat or sleep properly.
Because this will be her second valve replacement, Mirella is no longer eligible for medical insurance. The only viable solution is a specialized surgery in India that avoids open-heart surgery—a necessary approach, as traditional surgery poses too high a risk.
The cost of this procedure is Rs 1 million, and while friends and family have already contributed, we still need your help to raise the remaining amount. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a world of difference and bring Mirella closer to the life-saving treatment she urgently needs.
